It often improves the result if
I can make
suggestions for co-composing melodic lines,
since the presented
instruments have their
own specific ways of expression.
For most recording projects I work in my own
studio. The usual procedure is:
1. I get some tracks (mostly MP3's or WAV-
Files) delivered by
e-mail or ftp-transfer on top
of which I
record my overdubs. By phone or
e-mail there's some exchange on
how you
imagine my musical contribution.
2. I send you my clean instrumental tracks
either by e-mail or by
ftp-transfer. Of course,
the data
format is totally
open.
Of course I can also record in external studios.
It is great to
meet the people I work with!
